Behavior is the mirror in which everyone shows their image.

Here is my outfit from some days ago when i went out with friends. The t-shirt is from Restyle.

The next day i gone to a flea market where eventually after a lot time of research, i found at last a mirror in the exact shape i wanted! Ok its not black but who cares, it is still a beauty. The " treasure chest " also a new find. Too lovely not to buy it, just seeing it makes me dreaming that one day i will become a pirate :P

Whenever i read about someone's work, i always read about his life. Learn about his/her background and understand them through their work. Not every time and it is always about themes i like to read. For example when i first read about Oliver Twist when i was young and watched over the years the - many - movies about it, i read also about Charles Dickens. Instant he became one of my favourite authors.

When i bought the book The Mystery of Edwin Drood [ old post here ] i didnt knew there was a series (and a brand new one actually ) about the particular book. So here i present you the lovely series about a story i loved, even thought it was left unfinished by his father. (Charles Dickens died and left the book unfinished, so the mystery about the end of it!) Only two episodes but if you are a fan of Dicken's you are gonna love it. Very quick plot, amazing costumes, lovely new and old faces of periodic dramas and an amazing story.

  2. interesting title! seems like youve found a whole lot of treasures :D!

// The garnier gaffeine anti-dark circles does work! But as i have both, the one with color and the one without i reccomend the one with color. It just does the job right away and feels refreshing. The color is good too, i wich there were a concealer that did the job as well as it does it.

Both are good, but my favorite is the one with color :D

  4. I love Dickens and I'm glad you wrote about him. I think that Goths tend to overlook him sometimes. Love that shirt too! :)

    1. I love his works too and really glad you like my post! He was a great author! His work was a mirror to the most fascinating era of London and through his books we can see about everything that took place in there! and yes goths who dont know, tend to avoid his books and really i dont understand why is that! He had a perfect sense of humor and also he was a very "dark" author too, the old Curiosity Shop for example.

  7. I totally agree with your theory of learning about the author. In the case of Dickens it is essential, I guess, as long as his own experience is reflected in many of his masterpieces. I study English language and literature at university and of couse, teacher tell us all the time about the importance of the author´s life. I remember Our Mutual Friend as a ver uncanny and interesting story, we read it for a seminar a couple of years ago and I thought it as great then. However, I haven´t read Edwin Drood yet. Do you recommend it to me? :)

    1. Ιf we will do something, at least we have to make it right! This is my weirdness and i believe it is a good thing to know the person who's work you read! You learn from him and his/her personality, the years they lived the influences the people around them, all that, printed on the paper, in the form of a story!

Well, i have my exams for now and the Mutual Friend is the book i will read after but yes, the particular book i totally recommend it to you! Well it is unfinished by the author cause of his death but you will get amazed by the story about the John Jasper who is a troubled man, his psyche split between darkness and light and it is pretty amazing to see how that is so modern too, what obssesion and passion love leads το!
