A house with old furniture has no need of ghosts to be haunted.

Hello people :) So today i got up early and gone for a walk around my neighbour.

But the following pictures are coming from Sunday. I got my sweet grandma for a walk down town. There was a flower market with many beautiful and aromatic flowers, herbs and seeds to create your little paradise.

Before our little walk we gone to the antique bazaar which i have wrote about before [ one / two ].

My kind of events!!! Look how magnificent all they look!!

Old treasures all together. A trip to the past as you have your feet in the present.

And of course old books.

I only bought two books. Amazing things to by but i am running out of space! Cruel world :P

So here is the first book The Mysteries of Chartres Cathedral with many pictures and info to die for! Cannot wait to start it! Here some pictures from the inside.

The second is this beauty, International Anthology with Stories. Many great writers ( Oscar/ Poe/ Neruda/ Aldington/ Andersen/ etc ) categorised by their countries, took place on those very old pages ( 1960 edition ) and their position to eternity.

The book has some great illustrations.

Any good book you read or a special event you took place?!
Hope you had a lovely weekend and an ever more lovely week. Until our next meet,

  2. Thank you for the beautiful pictures, Magda! Going to that sort of market is my most favourite thing to do, but since I am not allowing myself to do that until after we move (because I can't help but buy something!), looking through your photos was the next best thing to actually being there myself!! :D

The International Anthology looks amazing, especially those B&W illustrations!

    1. Thank you for seeing them and very glad you liked them :D ♥ I can tell that this is a very tempting thing to do, when you have a stop sing in your mind but what can we do? Its like they are calling us ^^ I adore old books and i found it under a pile of other irrelevant one's and it stole my heart!

  4. Hellow,
Like I said before your town looks beautiful and that market , omg, such beautiful finds, I love that type of jewellery boxes from the second picture, and so many other not useful but beautiful things to décor *.* I would go crazy, how are the prices?! Sometimes things to get pretty expensive here on my country, since that they are not many and the antique mania seems to be on fashion right now.

I love illustrations in books, they give it so much soul, it's somehow like a treat inside a desert, too much goodness.
You look lovely and your hair looks very healthy and shinny, gorgeus*

    Regards

    1. Heey beautiful! Thank you thank you! ♥ Oh my, i was looking around and i was like " ok i love this but is not that useful but OMG look how it looks me back, i need it in my room! :P " the inner conversation was hilarious! Most of the are clearly for decor and i am ok with that if i had more money , they were pricey! Old things of course they have their value , unfortunately a value i cannot afford ( when it comes to buy an certain amount of things! ) I do too! And you wrote it exactly as it feels, like a treat inside a wonderful desert!!! Many kisses :)

  5. Oh! All those beautiful treasures! That looks like just the kind of market that would get my heart pumping just a little bit faster! I saw quite a few lovely things that I would have been overjoyed to have picked up myself, including that gorgeous ornate mirror in the 19th picture down! I have a small picture frame exactly like it but a mirror version would be lovely to display!

You picked up some great books! Wilde, Poe, Andersen and old photographs of beautiful buildings.. what more could a girl need on a Sunday! ♥

At least i have it on a picture :P Thank you ♥♥ it would be cruel for my poor heart to leave empty handed and those babies gave me a big smile! A lovely day indeed ^^
