That perfect tranquility of life, which is nowhere to be found but in retreat, a faithful friend and a good library.

March is here already!
February was a great month and it didn't flew as quickly as usually..
Here some pictures from the last week of February!

For a while now (i think about two years) a Greek newspaper is giving
some books i always wanted to add to my collection.
Nikos Kazantzakis is one of my favourite
Greek writers and the opportunity was great to collect most of his work.
For about 4 euros each, i think i have managed to own 20.
And here is one of them...

This is a traveling diary from his journey to Japan and China.
A hardcover beauty that will provide you a magical trip to these gorgeous places.
Travels in Japan & China.

Here are my two new and very simple bookcases
i bought a couple months ago. They are all mine to fill *yeah*.
I was dangerously running out of space in my room for my books
(all these babies were lying around my floor)
so it was vital to purchase some bookshelves.

I walk around this earth in comfortable clothes wrapped around my body.
I put always my comfort first. I dont care what's new in fashion,
i dont care what people say i should wear (people still do that!)
and i definitely don't sweat over to keep a certain style.

And even though some days i want to get up and dress like a fairy princess,
i end up with my usual homeless look!!

Which brings me to this.. i adore oversized clothes! Oh & leggings!!
So, a couple months ago, we cleared up our closets and general belongings.
Some of the things went to charity and some i kept for myself.

For example is oversized (and old) black and red sweater. Now yes, i added color
to my wardrobe, it feels so weird for me but i guess.. i am growing up xD

    1. Haha thank you ^^ They look bizarre now (i will rearrange them for many times and still not be 100% satisfided hah) but at least i have my own space for my books. It is yes, we see his life (and his wife's) during his famour film Psycho. It is a good movie, nothing extraordinay though. It had a good cast and we can see behide the name Alfred Hitchcock. Plus, I adore Anthony Hopkins and when i saw he was filming it, i knew i had to see it. He looks completely different though.

  4. I still have The Last Temptation of Christ by Kazantzakis on my bookshelf. I think I read that when I was around twenty. Long time to keep hold of a book!

I LOVE red and black plaid! I have a blue and black plaid coat my kids call my 'homeless person' jacket. I won't tell you how long I've owned that. ;)

    1. Really? It is yes, one of his most famous books but i didn't know many people (outside Greece) who read him, so that is very interesting to me! Haha i get that compliment myself. I have also a purple & black one but this red & black is my favourite, they are both old too :P

  5. What kind of novels does Nikos Kazantzakis write? You got me curious as you are collecting all of his books. You look absolutely great in your layering clothes. Weird that you still get advices about what to wear as you always look good.
