Freedom can occur only through education.

Hello everyone.
Exams are here as always, never missing their appointment and i have my self hidden under a pile of books.
I take a walk around to enjoy the winter and go back inside for some more study. No i am not that great student, i skip some hours of reading just to watch a movie to refresh my mind.

I watched Hotel Transylvania finally and yeah i know, it's an animation for kids but what the hell, it was adorable, sweet and she had the best dad ever! ♥ I loved it and i recommend it!

It came to my hands this summer a very old edition of the book(s)
Scarlett: The Sequel to Margaret Mitchell's "Gone With the Wind" which is a good book to read, even if i had some doubts, a sequel to the masterpiece Gone with the Wind.

The movie was also a great adaptation of this historical novel, which had the exact amount of romance i liked to see in those period movies. But if you cannot stand a 3 hour and 58 minutes movie then go away, is not for you! I saw it some years ago and when i have the chance i see it again.

Vivien Leigh with her beauty, her acting skills and her mourning dresses, Clark Gable, a very handsome man with a wonderful voice, career and a killer line at the end, made a wonderful duo in the screen. ♥

I’ve always wanted to read Lois the Witch which came to my hands out of nowhere.
Elizabeth Gaskell was a British novelist and short story writer during the Victorian era. A short novel of her comes in at a slim 140 pages. Published in 1859 or 1861 depending on the source, it is the only one among Gaskell’s writings set entirely in America.

I don’t know what Gaskell’s sources on the Salem witch trials were, but her accounting of the 1692 trials is accurate. Except for Cotton Mather she changes the names of those involved and takes some liberty with the story but adheres closely to the events.

Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller (big name! Friedrich Schiller is better) was a German poet, philosopher, historian, and playwright.
I want to read so many of his work but finding at least one i was super great! His poem, An die Freude (Ode to Joy) (1785) became the basis for the fourth movement of Beethoven's ninth symphony.

Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller (big name! Friedrich Schiller) was a German poet, philosopher, historian, and playwright. I want to read so many of his work but finding at least one i was super lucky!
The Ghost-Seer or the Apparitionist is an unfinished novel by Friedrich Schiller and although it remained unfinished, its audiences were the largest for any of Schiller's work during his lifetime.

The readership was attracted by its elements typical of its time, such as necromancy, spiritualism and conspiracies.  Due to the novel's slow formation and the author's antipathy to it, it was not planned from start to finish and its style and structure is not uniform throughout, ranging from rhetorical prose, to theatrical prose, to dialogues reminiscent of Don Carlos, to the popular elements of Gothic fiction.

  1. Exams are always annoying. I tend to become a goblin with no interest in life outside my books and sunlight. But you do stop for refreshing your mind, which a very intelligent thing to do, indeed. I wish I could be less compulsive when studying. I normally get too much anxiety bcause of it.

Anyway, I just went "Aaaaawwww" when I saw the picture with all the coffee and the buiscuits. It´s funny how similar is coffee time here in Spain. We have almost the same kind of buns! I dind not know about that!
