excuse my second i-have-no-idea- what-i-do face xD

Hello everyone.
How is summer in your country?

August is here and September is in the corner.
It's my first time having the whole summer for my own, away from the school - university books
& the perfect time to read those books i keep on buying.
But today i will show you some of the books that kept me company
in the past and now sit peacefully in my library.

1. Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain
2. Robin Hood by Alexandre Duma
3. Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe
4. Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne

 Bertolt Brecht

1. Chimaira by Valerio Massimo Manfredi ( definetely need more of his books )
2. The Crimson Palace by Jacqueline Briskin

The Last Tsar: The Life and Death of Nicholas II by Edvard Radzinsky

History of the Byzantine empire by A A Vasiliev

The Red and the Black by Stendhal

1. Neoteric ( modern ) Greek poetry collection - Two centuries modern Greek poetry
2. The complete works of Dionysios Solomos and Andreas Kalvos

Two books with 3 works of Penelope Delta - Secrets of the Swamp

Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Teodora by Paul Wellman

The Lord of the Ring - The Return of the King by J. R. R. Tolkien
(because i found it for 4 euros! maybe one day i'll have them all :P)

Nana by Émile Zola

I was looking for ages a good herbal store
that i can trust and some weeks back i found the perfect corner.
Bought some herbs, vegetable oils and essences i needed,
good quality and in good prices.

Haha and that baby was too beautiful not to take a picture.
I am the type of girl who craves those kind of deserts. I lose
Strawberries, whipped cream and tart can make me sin!!

Since i am talking about essences, i found myself shopping ( again
during the first days of the August ( sales! ).
I bought many things among them, those kiss care love lip balms.
Adorable looking, great care for the lips, cheap but not low quality
and they smell.. delicious!!

Until the next time, everyone take care :)

  1. Your outfit in the top photo, is that all one piece? It looks so comfy!

Summer in the state of Kansas is winding down, but still very sticky. I've been doing a lot of reading on my balcony with cold beverages. That strawberry dessert looks phenomenal! I made some chocolate pudding last night and dipped fresh strawberries in it.

    1. Two pieces but yes, the trousers feels so so comfortable!!!^^
You do the right thing! Having long walks with that heat is really unnecessary and unhealthy. Oh my *rolling eyes, imagining how delicious your pudding had to be* Who can say no to deserts?! :D Thank you my dear!

  2. Your outfit is beautiful, those trousers look so comfortable.
The nights are very chilly here in sweden now. I'm checking the thermometer every evening before bedtime, afraid that the frost will kill my plants :/
All my tomatoes, beans, zucchinis need to be rescued in that case.

    1. Thank you so much :$ They are indeed!
So it is really one of the countries i would love to move because of the weather. My plants are dying here because of the heat and up there because of the cold... That is the only bad thing! Hope they survive after all!! Tomatoes are really sensitive but i know you will protect your babies <3

  3. (new stalker here)
Summer in my country, Poland, has been killer hot recently (36 degrees! I wasn't even leaving home); right now it's a bit cooler in here, but still very hot. Speaking about countries - I find it fascinating that we live so far away from each other, yet share the same name (which is very popular where I live, but I rarely see girls named 'Magda' outside Poland). And those books about Byzantine Empire and Theodora! This country fascinates me very much and, honestly, I had been thinking for some time about getting this one by A.A. Vasiliev... XD
I'd love to learn Greek language and I hope your blog will help me to at least get accustomed to the alphabet. And I see you're from Thessaloniki, a home city for Old Church Slavonic language, which is my big love - I think I'll stop writing this nonsense right now and will go on a virtual journey around your beautiful city. I just hope I'll get to visit Greece one day - but until this time will come, I'll be happy with your posts ^^

    1. ( Welcome welcome thank you so much <3 )
Oh i know, we have pretty much the same weather!! How unbearable is that.. I learnt that in Poland my name - our name - is very popular and yet in my country extremely rare!! I am glad when i "meet" people with my name so yeaah girl that is amazing! <3 Well, i recommend all of the above books and if you ever need any help about any book i know and read let me know, happy to help you! They are good books, he is a historian so it's worth to buy them if you still want them! :)
That is more than adorable, not many people go there, Greek is a difficult language and again, happy to help you in any way. Most of my books are in Greek and i have many photos of my city and always with english comments under so it would be easier for everyone who is interested! And nonsense?! No, i love reading about new people, really, your comment was amazing and you are not bothering me AT ALL! Your comments are welcome here <3

You are extremely sweet and thank you for your comment - i see your page every time you post and your magnificent outfits and stuff but i felt too shy to comment :S i know it's sound stupid but i will make up for that-. I truly wish you one day to visit Greece and i hope one day to visit your beautiful country as well. <3
