The phenomenon of vampires has always appealed to me. Everyone kind of likes a vampire story because it almost could be true.

Greetings everyone. Hope you are all well :)

An other way to calm and express myself is by drawing. It feels so great when i get a clean slice of paper, white as snow and i turn it into black, white and grey forms, Sometimes it's very hard to transfer the things you have in mind to the paper but i guess that's the beauty of it for me. The challenge. Of course as you can see from my drawings i never went to study it, but is something i do as long as i remember myself.

It was about time to make that effort i had so long in my head and here is the result.

Edgar Allan Poe and Vincent Price. And until i find a proper big frame to put my sketch to rest, i will definitely see myself adding things. As you can see, i love working with pencil but it is time to join the acrylic team. It will make them look more vivid (even if use only black colour :P)

Some days back i found myself shopping again.
Books, a pair of black wedges and two skirt, things i found in huge discount. I came across this dark red colour frame with this cute picture inside for 2 euros. Also i had the time to clean my jewellery box(es) because you know, dust. It's everywhere and i hate it!!

Vampireology: The True History of the Fallen.

Vampirology is a work of fiction disguised as non-fiction. It tells the story of the fictional detective Joshua Kraik, going though the research of his late friend Archibald Brooks and trying to solve the mystery of his death. The book is mainly comprised of Brooks's research on vampires, with added notes from Joshua and letters from the mysterious Contessa Magdalena.

It looks like a children's book and i don't care because it is BEAUTIFUL. ❤ All the hidden things around, cards and pictures to die for. And not to mention, it is about vampires :D I couldn't resist so i bought it after one second of thinking!! Original 19 euros - i bought it for only 7. :)

  3. What a beautiful book! But like linnea-maria, I bought Dragonology for my daughter, too. Is the cover art by Anne Yvonne Gilbert? It sort of looks like her stuff...

    Your drawing is wonderful!
