I couldn't live a week without a private library - indeed, I'd part with all my furniture and squat and sleep on the floor before I'd let go of the 1500 or so books I possess.

Hello you, hope you are having a nice day/ weekend/ week.

First of all, happy new month. May
is here but i am fully aware that you know it already.
*Good job me...*
I went the other day for shopping, followed by
good company and a walk around the city.
The weather is pretty obnoxious lately but it's fine.
We will get through an other summer season!!

An other beauty that came through my mail
is the H.P. Lovecraft: Great Tales of Horror
(Fall River Classics - Hardcover).

The book features twenty of horror master H.P. Lovecraft's classic stories,
among them some of the greatest works of horror fiction
ever written, including: "The Rats in the Walls," "Pickman's Model," "The Colour out of Space," "The Call of Cthulhu," "The Dunwich Horror," "The Shadow over Innsmouth," "At the Mountains of Madness," "The Shadow out of Time," and "The Haunter of the Dark."

Do you know/ like Lovecraft? And if so, which is your favourite tale?
Until the next post

    1. Heey ^-^ I don't have space but i always make some (in a very weird way i always manage to find some space available :P) Don't leave that dream my dear, even if it seems you are not having free space. Make it reality because a library is a gorgeous jewellery!!

  3. That is one of my favourite quotes, and I am a Lovecraft fanatic! :P You look beautiful, and indeed, summer is approaching. It's already too warm for me and I'm willing to bet that it's much warmer where you are than I.

  5. I LOVE Lovecraft <3 You seem to have catched a beautiful edition, I have two incomplete compilations of his stories and they fall short of your copy. And I'm deeply impressed you read Lovecraft's prose in English, for me his complicated syntax is sometimes hard to comprehend even after translation. From time to time I look for his stories in English, but, sadly, I have hard times understanding them.
My favourites are 'The Haunter of the Dark', 'The Colour out of Space', 'The Thing in the Moonlight', 'The Rats in the Walls', 'The Shadow over Innsmouth' and very, very underrated 'The Quest of Iranon', which is probably my top favourite.

    1. Thank you my lady! I was looking at the Barnes & Noble Collectible Edition of the book but when i saw this on sales, i bought it without hesitation. I have read many of his works in Greek but i dont know, i felt that something was missing so, i went for the original. So far so good. Is not easy for me to read books in English but i believe you need to read them in their original language (always with some help aside!). From the books i bought, Shakespeare also gives me a hard time but it's ok. :)
